Our Proud Moment

Both Hildan Junior and Senior Team made it to the finals for the first time ever since it was reopened back in 2004. The girls did the school proud by giving TKPS, 4 time east zone champion and 4 time national finalist a hard time during the recent finals. The girls played their hearts out and fight well which both teams eventually lost to the experienced and well-organised opponent. Both teams will now go their exam break and will return to training the moment exam is over. May both teams do well in the nationals and be among the elites.

Team Hildan Junior worst performance

Yesterday saw Team Hildan Senior thrashing their opponent 65 - 0 recording one of the best performance since last year. Today, Team Hildan Junior could not match their senior as they became complacent in a 27-2 win against the determined Junyuan Primary. From the defence to the attacking players, the team showed that they are not ready to be among the elites ,TKPS, St Marg., CHIJ OLN and CHIJ Kellock. Their performance was way below their standard. Many coaches have noted that Team Hildan Junior will be the team to watch this season but not after today's performance. They have to discard their complacency and work hard in order to achieve the goal that they have set for themselves. Their next game will be against IJ Katong on monday at 8.00 a.m. Will Team Hildan Junior bounce back from the complacent performance? Let wait and see....

Morale Boosting performance from the Team Hildan Senior

Our Team Hildan Senior broke our school's highest scoring record with a 65-0 thrashing of Geylang Methodist. Credit must go to the defence team for keeping a clean sheet in this game. Elsie Hui, last year's v-captain was at her best today helping the team to a 16 - 0 lead in the first quarter. The girls went a gear higher in the second quarter extending the lead to 35 - 0 and in the 3rd quarter, Team Hildan Senior mangaed to score another 12 goals making it 47 - 0. In the final quarter, eventhough leading comfortably by 47 goals, the girls maintained their solid performance by scoring yet another 18 goals making it 65-0.
Ms Ng, coach of the Senior team said " The feeding into the goal circle made by the attacking players could have been better. Overall the players did O.K."
Their next match is against PLMGS. The winner of this tie will top the group and move on to the next stage. All the best to Team Hildan Senior.
